Simply Sweet & Salty
Place in a sealable bag with your meat of choice and put in the fridge for four hours maximum. Pat down before cooking to prevent smoking while cooking.
- Fits well on steak, shrimp, and chicken.
- 1/2 cup salt-reduced soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2cm piece fresh ginger, peeled, finely grated
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp tequila
- 2 tbsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp cumin
- 2 tbsp Mexican oregano
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder or cayenne
- A generous amount of chopped garlic. (recommended: 4-6 cloves)
All The Flavors: Savory, Sweet, Herby & Spicy
This does 4-6 breasts for a 24 hour marinate. Good for chicken on salads.
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh Rosemary
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon red chilli flakes
Easy Creamy Marinade
Use Greek Yoghurt as the base and then mix it up with some of these options:
- Salt and pepper. That's it!
Marinate for one hour minimum and then bake. Serve with lemon squeezed on top. Add ginger or garlice to the marinade.
